The Original Red Lift is designed primarily for Sport Bikes and other light to middle weight motorcycles with normal ground clearance.  There is a comprehensive selection of mounts that slide over the lifting beam to hold every type of motorcycle firmly on the lift. 

The Red Lift has a unique feature in that it has a bracket attached to the vertical pillar of the lift that can support the motorcycle side stand.  This allows for a wider range of mounts to be used since the side stand provides the lateral stability.  For example the multi-mounts being used in the picture to the left are holding the weight of the motorcycle and the side stand on the opposite side is keeping it vertical.  This is also the case with the optional wheel mounts that support the motorcycle under the wheels.  The popular foot peg mount kit that can be used on the Big Blue lift and Red lift does not require the use of the side stand support because it clamps onto the pegs to keep the bike stable side to side.

This lift and the Big Blue use the same lifting mechanism that utilizes a heavy industrial machine screw powered with a hand drill instead of troublesome hydraulic cylinders.

The Red Lift is lighter duty than the Big Blue but is still rated at 770 lbs lifting capacity.  It is designed for motorcycles with normal clearance under the engine.
